Grant Sullivan was 6 years old when he lost his battle to neuroblastoma, just 5 months after his relapse.Bart Bezyack was 17 years old when he lost his cancer battle after 4 years of treatments. Both families were friends before diagnosis and supported one another throughout treatment and with the loss of their sons. GRANTS WISHES evolved from the passing of these two wonderful boys who lost their battles with cancer. GRANTS WISHES began with a child whose cancer relapsed and had asked their physician if they could have a 2nd wish. Each child’s first wish was granted by another organization with their first diagnosis of cancer. The physician then asked if we could do anything to grant a 2nd wish to the children whose cancer relapses or who have ongoing long-term cancer treatments. GRANTS WISHES granted our first 2nd wish in December of 2003. This is just the beginning of GRANTS WISHES and with your help we can make more 2nd wishes come true.
Thank you for your support & making wishes possible!
