** We have granted 54 wishes as of 2011 for Rady oncology patients.
In May of 2007, an agreement was made between GRANTS WISHES and the Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego to identify all Pediatric Oncology patients being treated that meet the following criteria for the GRANTS WISHES PROGRAM: |
1. The pediatric patient must be referred to GRANTS WISHES by a member of the oncology team.
2. The referred pediatric patient must have recurring or long term cancer.
3. The pediatric patient must have already received a wish from another organization or not qualify for one from any other wish organization.
