"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." Winston Churchill

GRANTS WISHES evolved from the passing of two wonderful childen who lost their lives to cancer.
Grant Sullivan was 6 years old when he lost his battle to Neuroblastoma in November of 2002, just 5 months after his relapse.
Bart Bezyack was 17 years old when he lost his life to Heptocellularcarcinoma after enduring over 4 years of treatment.
The Sullivan and Bezyack families were friends prior to either boys diagnosis and supported one another throughout the treatment process and the tragic loss of their sons.
GRANTS WISHES now honors the memory of these two special boys and many others, by granting second wishes to children fighting the same courageous battle with hope to survive cancer.
What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash.
For you never know how much time is left, That can still be rearranged. If we could just slow down enough To consider what's true and real, And always try to understand The way other people feel. And be less quick to anger, and show appreciation more And love the people in our lives Like we've never loved before. If we treat each other with respect, And more often wear a smile.... Remembering that this special dash might only last a little while.......
